Recope is a fun and medically supported exercise program for adults of all ages with medical challenges. We offer both land classes and water classes.
After an injury or illness, rest is important during the initial recovery, but it is vital to get moving again in order to reclaim your former abilities.
Movement and muscle contractions lead to improved circulation and respiration which improves oxygenation to aid in repairing ailing body tissues. Healthier tissue leads to increased strength, decreased pain and an improved sense of wellness.
Recope helps you to get moving gradually even through stiffness, soreness and recovery.
Recope's team will assess, recommend and monitor your reintroduction to exercise.
You can do it! Exercise to reclaim your health and active lifestyle...move better, feel better, live better !

Pool Classes

Exercising in the pool has the advantage of reducing the effects of gravity and weight on joints so they can move more easily through a greater range of motion. More movement leads to increased strength, decreased pain and improved joint stability making every day life easier.
Wheelchairs, walkers and assistance are available if needed to ensure safe mobility on the deck. Pool shoes are required. A chair lift and full sized staircase make it easy to access the pool, staff and volunteers are always present to assist people.
