50 Years of Recope!

This year Recope is celebrating 50 years of providing incredible support to our community!

Originally established in 1976 as a program out of Summerland Hospital we are proud to say that through your support we have been able to keep the program going for 50 years! It is an incredible accomplishment for a non-profit organization like ours that is supported by a board of volunteers.

Our board members thorough the years have consisted of Recope participants because they understand how much this program changes the lives of the participants. Over the last 50 years we have helped community members improve their daily lives with medically supported rehabilitation services in both the pool and on land. Recently we have expanded the services to Penticton as well which has been an incredible success.

To celebrate this milestone we are hosting a gala at Summerland Heritage Cider Co. on August 26 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. There will be speakers, special guests and an amazing silent auction open for bidding (paid by cash, cheque or e-transfer). Tickets will be $35 and include a welcome drink and delicious appetizers.
