For nearly five decades Recope has been a trusted non-profit in Summerland providing medically-supported exercise programs. Now, in a major milestone, the program has expanded its reach to Penticton, opening new doors for people living with mobility, cardiac, neurological or pain-related challenges to reclaim activity, strength, stability and community connection.
Executive director Joseph Lang recently discussed this expansion with The Spotlight.

Until now, many participants had to travel to Summerland for land and aquatic medically supported exercise programs. This expansion has also opened up the waiting list to more participants who have been waiting for this support.
The Penticton program has had a very successful transition during this trial and hopes to continue on a permanent basis. Please consider donating to our registered non-profit program, all donations go directly to supporting our participants, their needs and the cost of the facility and support staff. Thank you everyone for your continued support for this amazing program.
